Memorial Day 2010
Well, I know I haven't done an update in quite a while...
This one will have to be short, as I need to get to bed tonight, but I wanted to share some of our latest pics.
Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We're so thankful for all the people who have sacrificed being with their families and even given their lives - thank you to all the soldiers past and present for our freedom.
Happy Memorial Day to all of you, thanks for checking in on us...
Blessings to you all,

These photos attest that life IS good! So glad to see the many smiles of Caden.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and your loss as I have been reading a very beneficial book called "Better Than My Dreams," by Paula Rinehart. I had been wanting to read it ever since I read a book review which included a Jim Elliott quote used by the author (His quote: "What is, is actual - what might be simply is not, and I must not therefore query God as though he robbed me - of things that are not - [the] things that are belong to us, and they are good, God-given and enriched.")
Somehow the book ended up in my hands just after my husband's younger brother took his own life on May 20th. God's timing has been perfect.
Also wanting to thank you again for allowing us to come alongside you in your journey. My little boys have many questions (especially 5 yr. old Trevor), but we already had a foundation laid because of our time spent sharing your story and Coleman's journey. Trevor even said that Uncle Rob is in heaven with Coleman.
I wondered at the time, if my desire to become a part of your journey (in prayer and following your blog, watching your videos, etc) was something I should keep from my little boys. But, how could I? They fell in love with Coleman and Caden as much as I did. Now, I believe that God definitely wanted me to share Coleman with them.
Thanks again and may God continue to hold your family in the very palm of His sovereign hand.
